This site is exclusive to United Airlines employees with access rights to Unimatic/Apollo on Skynet. This site provides a PAID and FREE tutorial to setup your mobile device to access Unimatic and Apollo as if you were sitting in front of your PC, Mac, or one of United's in-flight workstations. There is a growing list of mobile devices (as shown on left pane) that is making this access possible, and more are added as they are discovered and tested. This mobile access is facilitated by a service called "Remote Desktop" that is currently built-in to most Windows operating system (XP and Vista). Mac users will require a third-party software installation called VNC. It's a "round-about" way to get access to Unimatic|Apollo since most mobile devices including the iPhone/iPad and all Android devices, do not allow the installation of the required JAVA applet. An application/software is required on your mobile device - FREE for the iPhone, iPad, Android devices and the Samsung Tab. To make use of the free "do-it-yourself" tutorial, your must purchase the app, must have a PC or Mac at home connected to a high speed internet connection, a router, and lots of patience to follow through an extensive setup instruction. Try a 30-day DEMO now (note that you will need to download/purchase an application for your mobile device). Setup takes less than 5 minutes. To learn more, sign up now |
